Cliff’s Insane Terrain (The Cliffs Insane Terrain / The Cliffs Off Road Park) is a private OHV park near Marseilles, Illinois, at about 2681 E US Highway 6. Roughly 300 acres of wooded trails, rocky creek crossings, hills, ravines, mud, and practice MX areas — the kind of mixed Midwest terrain that got the “insane” name honestly.
Critical vehicle rule (current): No Jeeps, trucks, SUVs, or other D.O.T. / street-legal vehicles on the trails. The park is for ATVs, dirt bikes, and UTVs/side-by-sides only. Bring your own ride (BYOR); they do offer guided UTV tours (Yamaha Wolverine / Viking) if you don’t have a machine.
Requirements:
- Sign a waiver at the office; ID required
- Minors need parent/guardian consent (notarized if the guardian isn’t present)
- Illinois OHV sticker required ($11 residents / $18 non-residents, confirm current)
- DOT helmets for ATVs, dirt bikes, and UTVs
- Whip flags (5 ft minimum) for everything except dirt bikes
- Max exhaust 96 dB (MIC stationary test)
- No alcohol; stay on designated trails

Hours (typical): Friday–Sunday, about 9 a.m.–5 p.m. (winter often closes at 4 p.m.); holiday Mondays sometimes open. No camping on site — nearby options include Illini State Park.
