For proper installation of your GoPro onto the Bonehead Aero Helmet Camera Mount, you’ll need the official GoPro Low Profile Mounting Buckle (pictured on the right). This can be purchased for $14 on Amazon.com Prime as part of the GoPro Grab Bag. While there may be cheaper, non-GoPro options available, I strongly recommend against them. In my experience, these knock-off parts often have issues like loose or sloppy fitting, weaker materials, and difficulty detaching the camera – potentially leading to damaged equipment or missed shots.
