This video provides a development update on our second-generation H3 Hummer rock sliders as of July 24, 2024. The prototype showcased is a partial section used for initial measurements and adjustments. The production model will extend the full length of the vehicle’s rocker panels. Our design surpasses traditional rock sliders, offering comprehensive rocker panel protection. Constructed from 3/8-inch thick 5052 aluminum, the skid plate incorporates a 1/8-inch step plate and seven internal 3/8-inch ribs for superior strength and support. Finally, to highlight the premium aluminum, only the step plate and four steel brackets will receive a powder coat finish.
This design platform offers flexibility, enabling efficient production of H3T models utilizing identical components.
