Today is July 24th, 2024, and in this video, I discuss the development of the 2nd generation H3 Hummer rock sliders. The prototype shown in the video is just a 1/4 cut section for measurements and adjustments. The production version will run the entire length of the rocker panels underneath the H3 Hummer doors. This design is more than a rock slider it is more of a Rocker Panel Skid Plates 5051 aluminum 3/8 inch thick. With a 1/8-inch step plate, the final design will have a total of 7 ribs made of 3/8 inch bent for supporting and adding strength to the skid plate. Only the step plate and the four steel 3/8-inch bent brackets will come powder-coated to show off the high-quality aluminum. Thanks for watching.
